Have my car given back to me on Saturday 17th February after injector 2 failed, the RAC took the car to this garage. All Monday and Tuesday the car smelt of diesel and the engine was noisy and sluggish. When I got to work Wednesday morning smoke was coming from the bonnet. I called the RAC, his diagnosis was as follows, injector 1 has been replaced (this was done in November) injector 4 is new? Injector 3 and 4 are old and injector 2 is the fault, also the return pipe for the fuel was the wrong size for the fitting and had shredded causing fuel to spray over the engine. I spoke to one of the owners and explained I work 40miles away and how do I collect the car, he was as helpful as a chocolate kettle. He has also stated injector 2 was the one changed and because it wasn't fitted properly that's why it looks old, 1 I have no faith in trusting that statement and I will be getting it checked by the RAC when I get the car back, especially when I opened the bonnet at work today I found one of the garages tools still under the bonnet. I realise not every job goes to plan but just a bit of compassion or help would of been greatly received. I will never use this garage again and most definitely never recommend this garage to anyone. A bit of customer service would of gone a long way sorry. After speaking to the owner today can I firstly apologise for my post, leaving it on because it shows when we get frustrated maybe we over react. The phone conversation was polite and honest between both of us, well he kept to his word and the car was delivered back to my house by 5.30pm. Obviously the first thing that I did was take it for a drive and it sounds and feels like a new car again. Thanks to the owner and the staff at the garage for sorting out the issues and a hint from me before posting comments sit breath and think first regarding who is at fault, the garage that sold you the car 8 months ago with 3 year RAC cover that doesn't seem to cover injectors? Or the small business that things didn't go as smooth as you hoped? Bigger picture is if you post something in anger one you realise your being hasty don't remove the post, man up and realise you've made a mistake
